It’s so frustrating, I ask him to stop doing it so much and he says it helps get things done around the house. We’re trying to get some things done around the house because we are selling in the next week.
My sons father use to. He’d get drunk enough on a daily basis he doesn’t remember much of our life before I left him for 7 months. It took me leaving him for him to realize he had a problem.
Me and my hubby have decided against alcohol for now, but pretty much everyone in our family (parents and siblings) have at least one drink a day. For some people it's a tool to deal with anxiety.
I don’t think he has a problem because he can do without it but he chooses not to. It scares me because I think it could be turning into something. He starts as early as 10-11 in the morning sometimes.
Mine used to when we first got together. There was one scary night that brought back all these emotions from abuse in my childhood and he quit. I cant handle angry drinkers thats what he turned into. He no longer is allowed liquor and has one or two beers once a week. I'm so thankful he changed for me.

My ex husband did. He was a functioning alcoholic.

My husband did, but then he switched jobs and hasn't had a drink in 2 months
