Six. I’ve seen six perfectly fine mothers have to footnote pictures of their children since yesterday with reminders like,
“don’t worry he’s not sleeping in street clothes, I’ll change him before I put him in his bed”
“Don’t worry, she didn’t eat a whole cupcake she wouldn’t get that much sugar”
“Don’t worry, I took the blanket out before I went to bed”
“Don’t worry, she only had one piece of candy”
“Don’t worry, yes I know there’s a blue line on the diaper, he was changed right after I took this”
“Don’t worry, there was breast milk in the bottle she doesn’t get formula!”
Are you guys kidding me?! You people are all so judgmental of others, that MOTHERS feel the need to add footnotes to innocent pictures of their beautiful kids JUST to meet YOUR PATHETIC standards of what “should” be right or wrong.
Guess what?! YOUR the ones that are wrong! NOT THOSE MOTHERS. Those mothers are exactly that, mothers to their kids. And because of JUST that, they get to choose what happens with their kids. And contrary to what you think, they’re capable of doing so without your approval.
If they want to give their kid a cupcake or frosted cookie on their birthday or Easter - THEY CAN.
If they want to let their kids indulge in a little in their Easter candy - they can.
If they didn’t want to wake their kid to change their whole wardrobe - they don’t have to.
If their child needs a blanket to sleep, so be it.
If they give their babe formula instead of breast milk - at least their feeding them! Formula was invented for a reason!
If their kid peed right after putting the diaper on and they waited to change him - MIND YOUR BUSINESS.
Stop judging other parents and understand that PARENTING IS HARD ENOUGH! No one needs the extra stress of trying to impress other people, on Facebook nonetheless. People they probably aren’t even really friends with or care about anyway but god forbid they just trust people to not think that they’re bad moms over clothes or sugar! Support each other and stop the freaking hate already!!
(Update - I never thought this post would blow up like it has — but I am SO glad it did! Be kind and be classy...support, support, support - it takes a village!
Ps. If you find yourself scared to post a photo - remember that the people who CARE want to see the pictures no matter what!! So POST THE PICTURES! Don’t delete your babies - delete the shamers! And know that you’re all amazing! 😘)

Not me. I don’t ever explain things I do with my children to people anywhere. F that noise. They are my kids and I will raise them as I see fit. No one is taking care of my kids daily so I don’t give a f what their opinions are. Right now, during the quarantine, my kids spend way too much time on their iPads, eat junk a lot, stay up way too late etc. the list goes on and on but we are having fun and living our best lives. Anyone who has something to say about that can kick rocks. I wish more parents were like this cause really it doesn’t matter what they have to say unless they wanna come help raise my kids hahah!!
