Bridger is nearing the end of his NICU journey! He is 4 lbs 7 oz. He is still on the NG tube, but he has passed his swallow test finally and he’s getting 2 bottle feeds a day currently. They’re introducing the bottle slowly but as long as he continues eating well, he’ll be solely bottle fed in the next week or two, which means that all that will be left is his car seat test before he can come home. I haven’t been visiting as frequently because of the virus, but they live feed all of his feedings and changes so that I can watch from home.It’s so hard being away from my baby all the time, but I’m also scared to bring him home in the middle of a pandemic.
