yeah she will cry a lot for a couple of days It's normal because remmber she use to the pacifer but after a few days she will forget

I did it cold turkey. The first night was rough. She screamed for it for like 15-20 minutes. Then each night got easier. Now she hates them lol she was also 3 when I took it away 🤦🏼♀️

Yea she woke up like 3 time last night crying for it. I had to rock her back to sleep. I’m glad each night gets easier because that was going to be my next question. You’ve encouraged me though!

you just have to stick to it! I got rid of my daughters around Christmas time so I told her that Santa needed her binkeys to give them to babies that done have them lol.

I did it gradually and it worked out better, I slowly started to take it away more and more I limited to only bed time eventually she got used to not using it to sleep and it was gone, and I didn’t really deal with lots of crying.

Cold turkey. It seems the older they get, the worse it gets lol my son just got ridiculous with his pacifier. He was hiding it all day and then asking me to find it (I had a newborn), so my husband just took it away. Honestly my hubby is way stricter than me so he just said no and that was that. Even bed time seemed easy, it took a bit longer to fall asleep but we gave him a stuffy. 3 days and he was over the pacifier.

Yea I think cold turkey is best for her. I don’t want her to have it in her mind. I gave her a stuffed animal. She’s not too fond of it because she wants the pacifier but we made it through her first night without it!
