I’ve got our food delivery worked out perfectly so we only have to get incidentals once a month. Between Blue Apron and 2 different weekly produce delivery boxes we are set! Don’t know why I never did this before!!!!!

I know I've done the same thing and besides my husband eating all the snacks like a cow it's so much easier than before 😂. I think I'm just going to keep doing this forever.

I do! I’ve never tried hello fresh. We had a free box thing from a friend to try it and just kept using it. I think the food is delicious personally

So I have a question. I’ve been pretty ridiculous with cleaning foods once I get them. I wipe packages down with rubbing alcohol and wash my produce in soapy water. I know its probably extreme but I’ve avoided buying things that are not prepackaged unless I’m going to cook the hell out of them but Ive found some local produce and would love fresh salads and such but how do you clean stuff like lettuce?

it kills bacteria and removes all residue and pesticides. A lot of produce is actually dipped in wax. For lettuce I just remove the outer layers. Nobody is touching beyond the outer layers. Everything else gets cooked anyways.

thanks for the info! I went ahead and placed an order with a local one to try out. I really miss farmers markets so hopefully this comes close

our local produce box has been amazing!!!!! Imperfect foods has been good too but really the quality isn’t comparable compared to the local box we get.
