I’m scheduled for a Endoscopy and Colonoscopy on Friday. Anyone do one? Please only good stories. I’m so scared.

I have only assisted the procedures with animals, sorry.

My endoscopy went quick, all but 7 minutes. Twilight anesthesia so I was pretty much awake but couldn’t really feel what was going on. I was a little out of it the rest of the afternoon but I was okay. You’ll need a driver.

I've had a colonoscopy and the hard part was the prep.

I agree with @lifewithlynnieandwill88 I had a colonoscopy and the hardest part (sorta) was the prep. When I say sorta I ate really clean for the week leading up to it so I didn't have much to clean out.

FYI I had it done because I was having severe stomach issues. Had horrible pains and acid reflux, etc...I was underweight and was in my mid twenties. I did test after test trying to figure out a cause for my stomach issues. My colonoscopy came back fine so my doctor suggested it was stress. About 3 months later I caved and went on a small dosage of celexa. I haven't had any stomach issues since because my body was exhibiting my stress through stomach problems.

I had both done at the same time. It wasn’t bad the prep was the worst. My throat was really dry after that was probably the most annoying part.
