Anyone else having trouble lately with the whole mom thing and I feel like my son is suffering the most. Hes not doing well in school and I feel like I need one on one Time with him to help him but I obviously cant. I have a 2 year old and 8 month old. But my daughter yells when ever I try to have a conversation with any other human being and she'll act up also. So if shed just not for a few minutes I could be there for him more. She also barely will stay in the living room being decent with the gate up so I can get a few things done. Shell yell. She hates the baby gate. Anyone elses kid like this?? Any suggestions. She hasn't been listening lately to ANYTHING. I feel like I'm drowning

You CAN have one on one time. The girls dad is there. Tell him to watch the girls while you help your son. Stop giving in to the 2yos demands and teach her that her attitude is not acceptable. Go through with any punishments like sitting in the corner, ect that are age appropriate and not physical or yelling. Teach her what is and isn't acceptable.

Definitely don't respond when the two year old yells. Maybe have her do some "homework" too.
