i could never favorite one of my kids more than the other jerri will still feel wanted even with the twins here and y'all will still hear about her. just cause you have a newborn doesn't mean your other kids don't matter!!!. i can't stand when people favorite one kid more than the others!
backstory that no one cares about but me and my older brother were raised by my grandma and she always favored my older brother growing up she still does he could never do any wrong but growing up it was rough i always felt unloved and like i wasn't wanted i even threatened to run away A LOT because i didn't feel loved or wanted like they wouldn't care if i left he never did any wrong he was the perfect angel and i was the one that was looked over i often wondered what was wrong with me? why does she treat me like this and what so perfect about my brother. once i got older i swore my kids would never feel like this each kid would have same attention and love they would never feel like i did growing up they would know i love and want each one of them the same they'd never have to question that. Jerri is just as special as these twins and they will always be my babies even when i'm dead. rant over y'all have a good day!

I don’t see how parents can do it either! I treat my kids equally.

Exactly I'm sorry you had to grow up that way so shitty to feel that. It brings me back to a convo I had with Lily when I got pregnant with Bret and told her. She wasn't happy she threw the u/s pic on the floor and ran to her room crying. It broke me so I gave her time to calm down and I asked her why. She looked at me and asked how can you love me Abel and this baby all the same I think you are going to forget about me. I told her I could never ever forget about her and mommies and daddies have special unlimited love powers where they have such big hearts they can love all their kids equal and I said she was my first the start to the best journey I could ever experience in life and that's parenthood I could never forget that 💙 and each one is unique in their own way and yet so similar it's amazing

I'm SO sorry that ANYONE ever made you feel so terrible. Especially your own family; the people that were supposed to love, support and care for you. Despite them all, you have grown into a lovely, responsible, well rounded young lady with a good head on your shoulders. I am proud of you girl, you have done and are gonna continue to do very well and flourish. I genuinely hope your "family" can see that and appreciate that in you. If not, fuck em girl! They can either support you and push you forward or they become a weight and barrier. They make the decision of which they'd like to be so there's NOTHIN for you to feel bad bout. At the end of the day, you and your little family know who you are. To them, you're the ENTIRE world, moon and stars! As you SHOULD be!

I felt this with my little sister! She was always the perfect innocent one. She got to do so much more then I did, she could never do wrong for she was the perfect angel. Then me. If I breathed wrong I was a bound to hell. I actually did run away a lot, cops kept bringing me back, my mom and I were court ordered to go to counseling when I was 16, but she didn’t want to continue it. We only went a handful of times and then she just stopped. She signed for me to get married at 16, which I’m more then grateful she did, because I have a great life now with my husband of just about 7 years, BUT, I Fully believe she signed me to get married that way she wouldn’t get in trouble for not going to counseling, and she wouldn’t have to deal with me anymore. It taught me so much on how I want my kids raised, and I try my damnest to make them all feel equal. It lyterally terrifies me that they’ll feel what I felt. It’s kept me up so many nights trying to think if I did my job right as their mother, what I could of done differently that day ect. You’ll do great mama! It does get overwhelming at times, but you got this!
