Question : If my BBT has been running between 97.60,98.84,98.04 is that a good thing? I'm not too familiar with the basal body temp thing
Thanks hun. So those numbers are what I should be looking for. Because in the past my temps would be like 95 96 and then my peri9d would come. But I had very positive opks on tuesday and Wednesday
@blessedmama121619 temps will go down around 12-16dpo because your period will be coming
Also, you need to be taking your temp at the same time every morning, it's all about consistency. If you're a mouth breather, I'd try temping vaginal to get more steady temps. If not, then keep temping how you are, just make sure it's the same time every morning and before you do anything else, as any unnecessary movements will definitely affect your bbt. Your temps will climb until progesterone levels peak midway through your lp.. if you've conceived, your temps will start rising again around the end of your cycle due to another rise in progesterone caused by hcg. Your temps should never look like rocky mountains.. but a secondary surge in estrogen does happen between 2 and 4dpo. Good luck hun !!
I took another opk and it was very negative now. And yes I temp vaginally
But theres really no way to tell if you've ovulated or not, by just 3 temps alone this far into your cycle. Theres no telling what the previous 6 temps were before these 3. But if you did go on to release the egg, I would say those are good temps.
I'm assuming you got the dark positive on wednesday, the ovulation cramping on thursday... which is when you recorded the low temp... then a temp spike for Friday and today. I would say those are great numbers.
I got the darkest positive on tuesday and Wednesday. Ugh this is confusing
What days were those temps recorded on ? Judging by the day you got the positive opk and the three temps u gave me, It seems your lowest one was dipping for ovulation... then the next two high temps u had followed it but you need 3 higher temps than your previous 6 temps to confirm ovulation. Have you been doing bbt all cycle?
Are you recording your temps into a chart ??! If so, can I see your chart?!
Have you ovulated yet ?! Or are you tracking ovulation ?! That's a pretty big fluctuation in your bbt... are you temping at the same time every morning before you do anything else ?!
So when you use bbt make sure youre temping before and after O so when your temp spikes after O you have confirmation that it happened. If you did ovulate and those are your temps then that is good and sometimes before 5dpo you can get a fallback rise which is from a second estrogen surge which is nothing to worry about cause youre looking for a temp dip or second increase between 6-12dpo for implantation.
