We’re all trying our best right now to stay positive, stay busy and stay healthy. #AD I know my kids are getting stir crazy (especially my daughter!), so I’ve been trying to do one thing a day that gets us outside or moving! .

On my recent shopping trip to @bjswholesale I went down the toy aisles to see if I could find any fun items for us to do at home. A bunch of them caught my eye (water balloons, rocket copters and wubble balls), but the one thing that jumped out to me the most was a big box of sidewalk chalk! 105 pieces for us to have some fun with outside! I’m telling you - I love BJ’s for their toys and outdoor activity sets, but this one really got me excited!

Since it’s important to teach our kids the importance of every day heroes, I thought it would be fun to write a big THANK YOU on our driveway. As we were creating it, I was telling Victoria who we should be thanking right now… our healthcare workers, first responders, our military, our teachers, our neighbors, all the people who are working and helping to keep stores and restaurants running, etc. I really wanted her to know what we were saying THANK YOU right now and why it’s important to show our sign of appreciation on our driveway.

The best part was hearing people honk as they drove by and saw our sign! Thankful for this quality time with my kids right now and finding ways to keep them engaged and having fun. Thank you to BJ’s for the inspiration!!
