The blue light that radiates from a tv and other devices is actually really bad for sleep. We only allow tv’s in other areas of the house like living room, family room, basement, etc.
My 4 year old has a tv. Hes had one since he turned 3. He doesnt get to fall asleep with it on. Sometimes he wakes up earlier than everyone so it goes on, and when its quiet time before bed and for an hour during the day
In my 2 and 4 year olds room no,but my 7 and 8 year old yes. My older 2 are here friday-monday so my younger 2 will watch TV in there and movies and stuff on weekends. And if they watch TV during the week, it's in the living room. Friday and sat nights they can stay up till 9. But Sunday it's off at 7
My daughter does have a tv in her room but I don’t let her sleep with it on. I made that mistake a while ago and she would stay up all night watching tv
I definitely agree with @dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts ,my son HOWEVER gets to watch half hour of TV before bedtime ( after we do dinner bath ECT ) he gets a total of 1 hours an day
