My son told me this was the best birthday ever. This was the first birthday we didn’t have a big party or a custom made cake. This was the first birthday I didn’t go all out on the perfect birthday outfit. This was the first birthday I didn’t stand in a long ass line at party city to buy expensive ass balloons. This is the first birthday we didn’t even have balloons, a birthday hat or a birthday boy badge. This is the first birthday I wasn’t upset when his dad didn’t even call to say happy birthday and guess what he didn’t even bring it up this year. And this is the birthday that was the best birthday ever.
