So my son has really bad hand foot mouth . The sores keep coming on his body . We have his cousin living here and he had it bad like 4 months ago but it left tremendous scars all over his body . How can I avoid that ? I gave him an oatmeal bath with the aveeno bath and lotion stuff . He’s not scratching at any of it (except his ears ) atleast yet . He’s had this before but it only stayed in his mouth so I’m just worried lol

Not sure but when I was little and had chicken pox they duck taped gloves on me so I didn’t claw and scar myself 😂🙈 maybe some really soft mittens will help if you can keep them on him when he itches most

So far he only itches his ears and it’s not a lot and it’s more of a rub like they’re annoying him lol. He wouldn’t keep mittens on all day 🤣 he’s crazy lol

Rub calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream on the spots.

My son had it. I can't remember trying to keep him from scarring. I just did what I normally would, moisterizing him in shea butter. He has no scars from it.
