Please tell me taking sertraline gets better.
I took it early evening yesterday & I was doing so good. Last night I woke up around 10:30 with a panic attack and woke up every 2 hours after that just completely restless. I woke up this morning and I just feel bleh.
Side effects so far:
Jaw clenching (my main one)
Heavy eyes but restless
Extremely thirsty
Increased rapid heart rate/anxiety (took a lorazepam for that)
Slight nausea
Sick feeling
No appetite
Headache/head tightness in left side only
I am so hopeful in this drug that I wanna keep going but it’s so hard. And it’s only day 1.

Hopefully the side effects get better within two weeks. If symptoms worsten or you begin having suicidal thoughts speak to your doctor asap. I hope things get better.

I understand. At least be proud of yourself that you are taking the steps to help yourself.

Try in the morning!
And yes it does get better I didn’t have all that just super tired and nauseous but nausea went away after a few days
And I’m still super tired but to me it’s worth being tried instead of the back to back anxiety attacks
I hope it works out for you ❤️

It DEFINITELY gets better Mama. If you don't notice the side effects start to taper off after a few weeks, FOR SURE by the 4-6 week mark, just speak with your doctor. It usually takes several tries to find the right med and dosage. Hang in there girl, it DOES get better. Good for you, takin care of yourself!
