Idk. Mine went to three too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s now recommended every three years unless you have a history of abnormal paps, or family history. That’s what I was told

Unless you've had abnormal results or are changing partners yearly, every 3 years is the normal here. Ive only once needed to go every 6 months when they thought i had cervical cancer, and when everything came back normal went back to every 3 years. 🤷‍♀️

Idk mine are every year they were every 6 months because my peps kept coming back abnormal but that’s only been the last year and a half and I’m almost 30. Until then it was always once a year. I see my doctor again in Aug. so I guess I’ll find out then lol.

Yes, it is every 3 years here. I even have family history of uterine cancer, but that doesn’t change it. Still have to be seen every year though to get birth control. They still look, just don’t do the swab.

I don't think it's age related. I do believe that is just the new recommendation these days.
