Anyone planning baby during Corona? 😳😳 I want to but I am petrified
For me its abit to late as she due in the next couple of months but I'l be honest I'm petrified. She was a shock as we thought we couldnt have one together but if I new anything like this would be around I definitely wouldn't plan to have one as Iv never been such a wreck.. This will all be over and there is going to be alot of babies due I think x
Trust me before February no one knew this virus. 3 of my friends are pregnant and due in the next coupla weeks/months so I totally understand what you are saying. It’s such a weird situation, but I hope it all works out well for you. All the best! Think positive. We will all get through this ❤️
It wouldn’t be bad if we had an idea of how long our lives are going to be effected by the virus for. The questions id be wondering is first scan is usually around 12 weeks so by the time you conceive and get to 12 weeks will things be sorted out by then xx
@nam05, It’s horrible isn’t it. Ok so if you really wanted to go for it would you be prepared for limited care, say for example you can’t get a scan, are you prepared to go through a pregnancy unaware of any defects? I suppose people didn’t have scans back in the day and they done it and also birthing, would you be happy to birth at home? Then say you birth a baby with complications or defects how will you feel and would you cope “on your own”. What if there was an emergency with the labour/birth and you both need immediate care , Will an ambulance get to you in time ?
Sorry I’m not meaning to be so dark and deep but these are things I’d think about. Xx
P.S that’s talking in severe circumstances due to covid19 , it takes 40weeks give or take for a new life to be born so hopefully everything settles before then. The scary thing is the unknown xx
@erincharlieconor, I agree 100% and that’s why postponing my plans. But I am sure many will during lockdown & that also means loads of deliveries at the same time, that could also mean nhs being stretched again. I think the best is to wait and watch this year what happens. Until vaccine is available for this virus re-infection is possible in all countries
@nam05, I am sure there will be plenty of babies conceived too, hopefully for the people who arnt planning take extra precaution however we all know people get caught in the moment sometimes. There’s no wrong or right answer, if someone thinks now is the right time for them then they have every right to go ahead. I suppose some people may think it’s a great time because if we’re all stuck indoors then what else is there to do haha good time to kill the time I guess.
It would be sensible to wait and watch but what if everything changes after we are aloud to go back into the world as “normal” I don’t think anything is going to be the same again.
Do what makes you comfortable and happy xx
I think there will be a lot of babies conceived dye to people being in all the time. Personally I wouldn’t try to conceive as maternity likely to be super busy
I know what a massive shock it's all been.. I wish I listened to my neighbour about stocking up on bits when she said about it all but she normally over panicks. Oh god hope all goes alright for then.. It really is my only Panic is going to the hospital and now who will be safe to have my son crazy how you can plan everything and Now that's Looking unlikely 😔 thank you.. I'm staying positive. Trying to keep busy may put more weight on with all the baking we are doing.. Today is bread rolls 😂 hope your keeping safe ❤
