So my husband got home and one of our neighbors approached him and offered candies for our kids. He said thank you but sorry, due to whats going on i can’t accept them. He said she got mad because she turned around and walked away without saying anything. Was it rude or would you have accepted the candy? He said he wasn’t trying to be mean but his priority is keeping our kids safe.

For me, I would’ve taken it and sanitized the package or waited a few days then gave it to them. Either way she should’ve been understanding.

My husband is being very protective of our kids since my daughter had heart surgery when she was a baby and he’s very scared of any of them getting sick. He’s literally like more freaked out than i am.
