How often are you sitting him on the potty? When I potty trained my son, the first day I sat him on the potty every 15 minutes. I set a timer on my phone and put him on there every 15 mins all day long. If he went, I made a big deal about it. I gave him some watered down juice to help him go more often so that he would build some muscle memory and so that we would have lots of successes that first day. We also didn’t use diapers. He was in underwear that first day. Good luck.

Diaper free, with pants or underwear on only, big cup of water or your preferred drink for him and every 15/20 minutes sit him down tell him to make pee pee. He won't really know what that means until he manages it the first time. Then when that pee goes in the potty make a big deal of saying,"Yay you made pee pee in the potty!" Give him your biggest smile, hug, high five. It was that moment that made it click for my daughter and her big sister. As I said on your other post we just began. The first three days are the hardest bc you are teaching him what it means to use a potty. Something that really worked for my older daughter was to have her go to the potty when I sat on the toilet. I would tell her I had to pee and tell her to come along so we could be big girls and pee into he big girl potty. It's day one. Don't give up.
