Hello... If its chicks you want to start with.. You will need a small little cage just to keep them in in your back yeard.. Then you will neet 1 food bowel and 1 water bowel.. The cage just needs to be in the shade and you just need to cover it at night for any predators that would want to eat them...
To eat you will need to get growing mesh to make them grow fast and normal tap water..
Also you need to decide what chikens you would want.. Chickens that will lay eggs or chickens that you want to slaughter to eat..... At the moment i have 150 chickens... If you need ANY more advice then just ask... The chikens that lay the eggs is the best option coz you can get alot of fresh eggs... Have a very good night/day💖🌹
Not sure I remember the whole ordeal but I do know animals and predators can pull them through fences and eat them. So they will need a good solid shelter. Chickens like to gather around and sleep on the edges and fences alone are not safe

Is it cool there? You may need a heat lamp. Cage/coop. Food and water dish. Which chicks are you getting?

You'll need to make a brooder for them; heat lamp (temp depends on age of chicks) a cage/coop, pine flakes, water bowl, food bowl and chick food.
