This is why we don’t have social gatherings, regardless of the cause! My county now has the highest infection rate per 100k people in the state and my city is one of the highest in the state too. Stay at home!!!!

Some churches are using live streams. My dad’s church closed for weeks now.
Why are they not on the ball? Huge gatherings are just not possible at this day and age, sadly. Wth?

What’s happening down here is churches are still doing gatherings in individual homes and those people are getting infected.

That sounds crazy because all of the churches here went to online. A lot of the churches in other states are online to
But also you have to separate church and state so if the church chooses to continue to gather there’s nothing that really anyone can say

My family’s church in the Bay Area went online a month ago. They’ve been online as long as the kids have been out of school. We were the first district in the state to close in early March. It’s amazing to hear this is how it’s spreading so fast in my county

I’m sure that those cases were more than likely spread before people knew and before shelter in orders were in place. At least I sure hope!

One church has 71 active cases right now. I’m amazed. It’s not too far from me either. This is making me glad my doctor put me on self isolation

yeah I know, I was really relieved when our church moved to online streaming. It just made it easier to not have to make a decision. I’m always torn when I know people are sick at church during flu season. I actually have a good friend whose parents are pastors of a church in your area and one of their members died of COVID. So tragic

Our church is closed but a sister church has services outside and everyone has to be in their cars. Only the pastor is outside preaching. It's actually pretty nice. The governor here deemed it as safe and allowed it as long as they are complying, which they are.
