We bought Maddox a bike for Easter. Problem is we didn’t get him a helmet. Now with everything going on I obviously don’t want to bring him to the store to try one on. I measured his head and ordered one off amazon but it doesnt fit! I would wait but he cries daily when he sees the kids outside riding their bikes.

Return the helmet that doesn't fit and order a new one

@maddoxsmama but if you return the helmet that doesn't fit, then buy one that does fit... isn't that the same amount of money that you have already spent? It's only wasting money if you continue to buy bike helmets and not return the ones that don't fit

he has a weird shaped head and I don’t want to buy anything until I can try it on. A lot of places aren’t accepting returns right now.

My daughter who is 4 has been wearing a child's age 8-10 since she was 2. We just made sure to get one that has the adjustable strap. It has a plastic adjuster that you twist to adjust the strap around the diameter of the head. I know it can be frustrating but the person above is correct. Send it back and order a new one. One in a larger size. My daughter has a funny shape due to being born with macrocephaly. Thankfully she is a girl and her hair hides it. Now that her body has caught up to her rapid head growth noone can tell anymore. Hope this helps.
