I didn’t go into labor on my own with my first so I’m not sure what to look out for and google is zero help.
If I had contractions every 3-4 min that lasted 30-40 sec each but then completely stopped after 20 min, those are false contractions, right? They weren’t painful but definitely uncomfortable.

That’s what I’m thinking just because they’re pretty mild. But I didn’t know if consistency mattered more than the pain.

With my second, I had mild contractions like that too for a few days, then my water randomly broke after a few contractions and shit got real very fast (baby was born 30 mins later). With both my babies, I waited for contractions to get "painful", but honestly, I feel like I should have been at the hospital by then already... moral of the story, pay close attention to your contractions, because things can progress very quickly!

I was in this exact same boat yesterday. It kept on for hours. It has finally stopped, thank goodness. I had Braxton Hicks before, but these were a little more intense, but it wasn’t real labor. I wAs panicking a little lol

@sorrynotsorry, I don’t think so but then again, I was induced at 37 weeks so who knows if I would’ve lost it on my own or not.
I totally get that feeling. I’m excited too but this is probably our last baby and I’m soaking everything up. I’m not ready for it to end!

@mommaofjais, I understand!! Embrace it all!!! I will most definitely be trying again after this one if the lord blesses me again!! It hasn’t been an easy journey but we have finally made it through one!
