My son used to say “thank you” and “you’re welcome” and “ball” and “hat” and more but he’s digressing in speech. All he says is “ha” and “ugh” and cries. What do I do???

It’s normal for words to bounce around but the fact that he’s already 2 he should have a growing vocabulary. My son says everything we say and is putting 2-3 words together. His sister was the same at his age. Some kids just talk later.
