I’ve never worked for either, but I order from DoorDash all the time and have conversations with the delivery people. 😬 One guy told me you can do pretty decent depending on where you live and the restaurants offered. He said he doesn’t make much when people order things from fast food restaurants and such because they only get a small % from the fees and really rely on the tips. People tend to tip based on their food bill like in a restaurant I guess. A different guy asked me if I could give him a good rating because their rating affects the jobs they are offered- don’t know how true that is though.
yeah, I don’t know what other people tip, but I tip 20% with a minimum of $8 total tip (because sometimes I only have an order total of $15, and I’m not going to be an asshole so I at least tip $8 lol)
