We received notice that our local PD won’t be servicing anything that’s not a major disturbance or accidents.
They don’t want their officers putting themselves at risk by pulling people over for basic traffic issues, etc.

No, unless you’re doing something dangerous/illegal, cops won’t pull you over just because you’re driving.

The police are still out and answering high priority calls. If you're in a state that the national guard is in, you'll more than likely get pulled over for being out when you shouldn't. We have a curfew in place where I'm at but no one needs a slip or anything stating where they're going after curfew so it's not enforced.
Deputies are still writing tickets where I'm at.

My husband was pulled over 3 times Friday (he was on his way home from work after 9p). 2 of those by the same trooper and then followed home. But we don't have a lockdown or curfew.
