My Texas peeps, what does the governors new order about nonessential medical workers and procedures mean for prenatal care? I assume we can go to our appointments but will our lab work and test be postponed?

I took my daughter to the doctor last week and her lab work was postponed since it was for iron and not essential to her immediate health.

I’m wondering what this also means for labor and delivery.

My friend works in the dental field and this order applies to her dental office (which doesn’t contain hospital beds) but it still applies to them for some reason.

Have anyone’s prenatal appointments been cancelled because of covid even not in Texas?

Louisiana apparently goes on lockdown tomorrow...
