Has anyone used dulcolax while pregnant? I have severe constipation & its VERY uncomfortable

awesome i know i was in the er for hours nothing they gave me helped they sent me home after giving me that it was amazing

@cubanqueen, Last I was aware they were safe during pregnancy also.
You can get it anywhere...dollar store, Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens.
I've thought about that , but gracious those things make your stomach bubble on a whole other level
@cubanqueen, MIGHT be your only option Mama. Since you're pregnant, I'm not sure what's safe and what's not. I DO know how fucking MISERABLE constipation is. I'm SO sorry girl, I hope you can find some relief.
My doc told me to use Myralax (not sure if I'm spellin it right) when pregnant and it worked great. I could mix it with any liquid I was drinkin and it wasn't weird, chalky or funny tastin at all.
Miralax, I've tried that many times no progress. When I get constipated it's really bad.
@cubanqueen, Damn. You may have to try an enema then. You can get those anywhere too. It's kinda a hassle but WILL do the trick!

I haven’t personally but I usually try to avoid medication during pregnancy — Drink warm prune juice it would be safer
@cubanqueen, ugh I’m sorry those laxative usually cause me such a gripping pain maybe a suppository that way you aren’t actually ingesting anything
@cubanqueen, dulcolax brand actually has but any brand will do , or a liquid enema both are inserted rectally - sup is a solid little thing you insert and wait a while — enema is liquid the urge to pop is almost instant ! Make sure you are very close to the bathroom
@kellyjc I didn't think to take the magnesium citrate & I did yesterday in the middle of the night OMG ! NO stomach pain & complete relief thank you!
