My daughter has been invited to two birthday parties this weekend. Call me rude but I just think people need to cancel parties until further notice. Your kid doesn’t have to have a birthday party every year especially during a time like this. Then wanna make a big deal and be mad nobody shows up like uhhhhhhhh hello? Do you not see what’s going on right now. I did not RSVP for a reason so the fact that one of the moms is calling me with attitude is beyond me. 🤦🏽♀️😂

DD turns 4 next Saturday. I’ll decorate and bake a cake. I’m sad we can’t have a party. And my bday is a few days later. It sucks but it’s better to stay home to prevent the spread.
They shouldn’t expect anyone to show up during this time! And why would they voluntarily expose their family?
100% understand kids are getting bored. But we can’t just disregard the pandemic. Like it’s not even happening.

I was thinking the same if this is still going on in May. Was just gonna do something small with the girls for my youngest birthday. It does suck especially because poor kid is gonna be devastated when no one shows up. Happy early birthday to your baby I hope she has an amazing day! the good thing about kids is that it doesn’t take much to make them happy. I’m sure she’ll have a great day no matter what!

we go to the zoo every year too. It’s sad we cannot keep the tradition this year. Hopefully next year!

Huh? They’re still having the parties? I figured everything was called off. We were supposed to go to a birthday party today but the parents canceled it. There’s another one next weekend that has been canceled too.

My sons bday is in about 9 days and I'm so heart broken because we absolutely will NOT be having a party. Not just for us, but for EVERYONE !we had already ordered tickets to this monster truck show and a hotel and everything and we had to cancel! :( it's sad but it's not worth us getting sick and spreading it further and possibly ending someone's life !

We had to cancel my son’s because he woke up with strep on his birthday and now all of this is going on so I won’t reschedule anytime soon. I will reschedule eventually because I’ve already bought everything and I can’t get a refund on the Spiderman character that I paid to come.

My husband's birthday is the 31st. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is April 1st and my birthday is April 2nd.

We canceled our travel plans (just driving 6 hours) for my son’s bday to celebrate with family. My husband’s job has been deemed “essential” and therefore he’s out and about and at more risk to bring something home. I wasn’t about to accidentally expose any of the grandparents! Birthday parties can wait!

My husband’s birthday is April 2 and we had Cirque du Soleil tickets for April 3 but all the shows are being postponed. My son’s birthday is April 14 and we weren’t gonna have a party but just some family over for an egg hunt and dinner. Maybe we can still do a small scale version if no one is sick
