But, for the last two weeks, you were unaware that you were infected.

For the last two weeks, you’ve continued on with life as normal —refusing to even entertain the idea of “social distancing” because “I don’t feel sick.” or "I think this is an over reaction or a hoax" or "the media is blowing it out of proportion".

You, young and healthy, spend a few days on the couch feeling pretty crummy. No big deal for you.

Your 82-year-old grandfather who you visited last week, the one who wears oxygen and has a long history of COPD and heart failure? Not so lucky.

The 78 year old lady you coughed on in the grocery store, who has diabetes and a heart condition, is now on a ventilator.

Now is not the time to be selfish and think about yourself!
