My kids have a little cold I don't think it's coroanavirus as they have the normal runny nose and chesty cough but am I right to not send my eldest to school or should he be going? I don't want his cold to escalate or spread if I'm wrong about it plus I don't want education warfare on my back for not sending him in over a snotty nose and cough such a tricky situation I've already kept him of past 2 days would you girls do same?

They will most likely be sent home, schools are sending most kids home that are under the weather, because if they're already ill they're more likely to catch further bugs x

My Lo had tonsilitis diagnosed Thursday, sent him nursery on Monday with antibiotics but they said still got to follow the 7 days off from date of diagnosis, to protect others but also him x

Keep him off, they will probably send him home anyway x
