RANT
I work in the restaurant business. They have closed all other restaurants around us and are only doing carry out. We havent heard if we will be doing the same or not. Schools are closed. Hospitals arent allowing visitors. Stores have specific hours of operation. They are telling us there shouldnt be more than 50 people gathered in one area at a time. So Tell me why people think it's okay to bring your young children and elderly and sick parents out to eat?? There was a woman who took her small child into the rest room and she didnt want to wash her hands and this woman is telling her she has to or else the corona is gunna get her...how about you keep your baby home? Use common sense. They arent out of school so u can take them out and about and have them get sick anyway. The only reason im still working is because i need the money. I sure as hell am not taking my kids out to eat and to shop when there have been positive tests 15 minutes from our city. This whole thing is insane but people are getting on my last nerve with taking those with little to no immune system out in crowded public areas. 😤

Its rough. I don't think anyone knows for sure how to handle this. Some probably dont realize the seriousness.

I mean I 100% get that there are single parents that are forced to take their kids to the store and whatnot. U have to do what I have to do. But when a whole family comes in to sit down and eat it just erks me. We have carry out. Take your food home to your kids. And seeing a mom and a dad with their kids at the store. Why couldnt one stay home with them while the other shopped?

It just erks me. Eating out is not a necessity and we have carry out. I get that some people dont have the option to leave their kids at home while they grocery shop but going out to eat is different. And of course we are sanitizing as much as we can but u never know.

Absolutely. Some people aren’t taking things seriously. I had a guy come in to my restaurant today saying “I’m bring the corona virus. I just got back from Hawaii.” Are you serious dude! People are stupid

People just aren't using their heads right now. I mean it might be blown out of proportion but even if it is, you should still do what u can to keep from getting sick instead of acting like there's nothing going on. Better safe than sorry.

I don’t know if you thought about this or not but everyone doesn’t have a partner to help them or a support team ! So some people have to take there children no matter the age with them
Where ever they go . I rather them take them in to get food and use the bathrooms with them rather than leave them
Sitting in cars unattended or at home unattended 💁🏾♀️ if you have the extra help then yea it’ll be crazy to drag them
Knowing it’s a risk but if not you have to do what you have to do and it’s not anyone’s business unless your going to offer some help

I commented above earlier that I understand that some are single parents and have no choice but to take their kids grocery shopping. You need groceries so u gotta do what you gotta do. But there's no reason to take your kids in a restaurant right now. We have door dash carry out and uber eats. Eating out isint a necessity. I was never insinuating you should leave your kids in the car or at home unnattended.

That's started here too. We were carry out for a couple days and today was my last day working. They laid off all staff other than managers. It was our last day open to dine in when i posted this.
