A lady I used to work with now works in the hospital and one of her patients tested positive last night. She was told to quarantine herself for 2 weeks before returning. I'm concerned if that's protocol how do you keep hospitals open and running sufficiently if tons of people start coming down with it

It's just that I'm worried about the possibility of having to do a home birth because they want to shut things down or needing prenatal care & not getting any. There are women out here including myself who can't have the option of a home birth because they're either high risk, cant deliver naturally or have other health issues that need special attention.

When I worked at the hospital they have emergency plans put into place. Right now they can afford to send ppl home, if it gets bad then they have protocols and precautions they will put into place.

@raisingbabes last thing you should be stressing about!! Take precautions, maybe online shop and pickup as much as possible and talk to your doctor with your worries but they wont turn down a lady in labor.

I’m worried about this also. I’m also worried about what happens when law enforcement starts getting this and we start having to quarantine them. Who’s going to keep the streets and civilians safe?
