How’s your 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ going?? Remember it’s never too late to start NEW THINGS!! I’ve done a few new things for myself this year:
1️⃣ Joined TikTok and loving it (love you to follow me: @AudreyMcClelland)
2️⃣ Decided to amp up more fashion and beauty content on my blog (honing in on fashion over 40!)
3️⃣ I’ve committed to working out. It’s not easy to get up and get moving, but I’m doing it for my body, mind and soul
4️⃣ I’m writing more and more... creative writing. I haven’t done writing like this in over 15 years!
5️⃣ I’ve been trying to volunteer more at the schools for my kids. My work schedule doesn’t always allow it, but it’s been so much fun being part of their lives in this way.
Nothing here is crazily earth shattering to anyone, but these are BIG things for me. It’s looking into 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ and making the year on my own terms. ❤️ Hoping the same for you, too!!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
