I’m getting quite worried about this now, I said to my oh as soon as this is classed as a pandemic that’s when I’ll stock up etc.. and it has been. I feel so sorry for families that lose their elderly relatives because of this! I have my grandad in his late 70’s with half a heart working he refuses to stay in! And my nan with COPD that won’t cancel her hospital appointment where the coronavirus has been confirmed 😟. Time to stop joking about toilet roll etc and take it seriously!

I tried to buy toilet roll yesterday! Went to 3 shops! I’ve always somewhat overbought things just because when my sister can take me to a shop I grab a few extras (because she drives and I don’t)
Downside of not having a car! You can’t buy a lot of shopping! I don’t like food delivery because they always get something wrong or buy stuff that’s about to go out of date in a few days! And The fruit they pick up isn’t always the best so I like to do it myself 🤣😂 xx

It's ridiculous.
What about the people that can't afford to stock up. Or the elderly who struggle with getting their little handful of shopping a week.
I'm going for my food shopping tomorrow, and don't intend to buy anything extra than I usually would. If people weren't so selfish there would be enough to go around for everyone, who the F needs 1000 toilet rolls 🙈

Nah I ain’t gonna go mad! I do think about the elderly, and I don’t understand why anyone needs all the hand wash and loo roll. I’m talking tins, nappies etc x

I'm not stocking up on anything. Can't afford to.
The shops will still be open. Wuhan has been in lockdown since January and one person from the household is allowed to go to the shops once every 5 days to get the food supplies their family needs.
People are going on like its the end of the world. Yes it's dangerous, yes it's highly contagious but so is the flu, so is the norovirus. I'd kind of understand if it was norovirus and people were stocking up on bog roll but the corona doesn't give you the shits.
Everything is still as normal by me thankfully. I saw two Chinese with masks on in town yesterday and that was it.
It's the selfishness that gets me, who needs 200 bottles of hand wash and 10,000 toilet rolls. More fool the idiots when it all blows over in a few months time that are left with a load of stuff they have wasted money on! 😂

I have no words just wow how people are going so crazy. I got to 2 roll of toilet paper and going shopping today doing my normal shopping no extra. And still doing my normal everyday think Aaliyah goes nursery 3 days a week. And we go wacky once a week. I’m calm. Not freaking out. If we gotta get we gonna get it but as long as we wash our hand keep our self clean we should be okay 🤷♀️ but this is just me. Social media is just ridiculous the amount of crap 💩 they put on.

I’d start getting prepared for a lockdown , don’t panic but prepare over this week. Long life milk, tinned foods, dry foods with long date stamps etc frozen fruit and veg just to be safe xxx

think it’s time we stop joking around and all stick together on this one! Yeah we can wash our hands as much as possible but that alone won’t stop us catching it we need to distance ourselves and protect our vulnerable xxx

I can’t afford to stockpile & I find it selfish of people that have bought enough loo rolls and the bloody hand gels to last a lifetime. Do they not have any consideration for people that just can’t afford to do it. Our town has put a limit of 2 packs toilet roll per customer and 2 hand washes but we’ve been outta stock of hand wash for a week or 2.x
