So my building has roaches ( my neighborhood and I are clean but it’s the ones behind or under us) my apartment wanted to do a chemical clean out tomorrow which i declined due to the chemicals and opted to keep getting regular pest control... however I don’t feel comfortable with either while pregnant and the problem is so bad I’m asking to possibly be transferred to another building.
She got kind of mad that I’m not getting the treatment but my neighbor isn’t getting it either and she’s not even pregnant, she said they should treat the others that never get pest control instead.

Also today I vacuumed and disinfected my whole kitchen and I’m currently wiping down all appliances and rewashing all my dishes....this is annoying but I’m doing it for both the roaches and just to be clean in general 🤷🏼♀️

The best pest control is to treat all residences, even if not effected, so they can't run and hide in other residences.

What pp said. The roaches will run into the apartments that aren’t treated. In order for a infestation to be treated, every apartment and building needs to be treated.

I know! They are so dumb to only treat the people who complain. Obviously the people must not care or are old or something and aren’t awake at night to see them or just don’t care

I would pack up and get a hotel for a week, and let them do what they need to do. Roaches carry diseases, there is no way in hell I would want those around my family. Disgusting. Like the pp’s said, they will run and hide, if the entire building is not being treated, there is no point. They will all be going to you and your neighbors apartments. I would be raising hell to get a transfer! Grossssss. Sorry you gotta deal this this!!

Yes girl we’ve been getting treated for months but it’s no use since the others don’t
Tomorrow supposedly they are going to clean the others too and treat ours once again but I want to transfer
The complex is on both sides of a street and apparently across the street it’s cleaner
