It would be fine, but its not our theme and more for a baby shower.

This frustrates me so much. I had the same issue for my sons upcoming 2nd birthday...so I ended up getting refunded & my friend is making me exactly what I want for $20. They should put in the effort with the amount of money they expect.

Exactly! I made my daughters cake smash cake and it was fine. But it costed me maybe $30 max.
But I’m lazy this year and wanted to just buy it. For $70 I figure It’s not hard to just do what we agreed on.
I wanteddddd a cake shaped like Saturn 🪐, but I contacted SIX local bakers and nobody could do it. 😭

girl. That topper isn’t even close to what you wanted. It basically changes the whole theme. I would of given her a hard ‘no’ too!! You’re definitely not overreacting. I’m glad she’s back to sticking to the original plan.

It’s just cheesy to me considering it’s not our theme. (First world probs, I know ) Totally fine for a shower, but his theme for the cake smash is outer space. 🤦🏼♀️

Thank you! I really was afraid I was over reacting for a second but come on. I really wanted a cake in the shape of Saturn, but she couldn’t do it so we settled on this. And then she try’s to swap out the top for a twinkle twinkle little star theme? I’m sorry, but nooooo.
