I asked for a heart monitor from my primary care doctor. I have inappropriate heart rate increases. Up to 134 bpm with minimal exertion. Sometimes will jump front 120 to 70 and back to 100 when I’m just sitting there. Thyroid ok. Not anemic. Just had bloodwork drawn last Thursday.

What about your blood pressure?

Sometimes it’s around 135/90 other times it’s 120/80. So it’s kinda all over the place

Possible a fib? My MIL randomly went into it while she was sleep deprived/under stress and had a cardioversion about a month ago. No previous history. Her BP and pulse were all over the place.

If it were any arrhythmia I’d probably think SVT. God if home not a fib that’s way more serious lol

Were your thyroid numbers on the lower end of normal? Sometimes they may be “normal” on paper, but not optimal for you. It’s tough because if they fall in the normal range, most doctors don’t see an issue.

Yeah i guess it is

looks like it. You may need to see an endocrinologist if your heart monitor doesn’t turn up anything.

yeah I’ll call tomorrow and try to get one. They haven’t called back yet

Have they checked your potassium levels? If they're too high or too low that can mess with your heart rhythm.
Kelly 🌻··
Nope last it was checked was two months ago and it was normal

See a cardiologist. They can do an echo, stress test, etc.

Yeah i just wanna do the heart monitor but if pcp recommends the cardio follow up i certainly will
