Does anyone else’s 2 month old only want to eat 3 oz every 4 hours? Im Worried she isn’t getting enough. I’ve upped her nipple size to a level 2 and everything she just will hardly eat 4oz and she will be 3 months on the 20th. She is formula fed.

Well if that's the case my 3 month old only drinks 4 ounces every 4 hours now im wondering if she is getting enough

Breast milk or formula? It’s different for each. And a size 2 nipple is fast for 2m. I wouldn’t go past a 1 yet.

She is formula fed, uses avent bottles. Size 1 was for 0+ months and size 2 was for 2+ months then size 3 is for 3+ months. I was advised by her doctor to go to a size to because she said if it takes longer than 10 mins to finish a bottle to go up a size. 🤷🏼♀️

If your doc says to, then it’s ok. We use avent too and my 8.5m old is still on 1. But he was breastfed until 7m, so he was used to a slower flow

Some babies don’t require as much as others. As long as she’s having enough wet and soiled diapers and gaining weight along her curve, she’s fine

Definitely she was 7lbs 14oz at birth and at her 2 month check up she was in the 98th percentile for her weight 😬

She was only eating 2oz on the size 1 and her dr said it was because she was tiring herself out eating. She is a chunk at a little over 13lbs but she only eats 3-4oz every 3-4 hours

Nah. My first born was like that till 4 months then went up. He never drank more then 6oz
