Ugh when your brother in law tries to argue with you that drinking and breastfeeding causes developmental harm and people should be pumping and dumping 🙄
I breastfed for 3.5 years. Don't argue.
On another note though I can see why his wife was so damn high strung while she was bf...she wasn't aloud to drink according to his breastfeeding rules 😂
Edit* ...I was explaining a casual glass of wine. He was trying to argue that even that will harm the baby. I was trying to tell him that if you're safe to drive you're safe to breastfeed

I’m kinda confused by this post lol.
Alcohol can absolutely be passed through breast milk. So if your drinking g you SHOULD pump and dump until it’s out of your system..

Controlling, condescending, narcissistic...there's lots of adjectives that describe him lol. I feel bad for his wife sometimes but then other times I'm like they were made for each 😂

You can drink alcohol just need to watch how much you drink and time the hrs.. yes pump and dump if you want to drink more or have milk stored for the night. I use to do that if I knew I wanted to drink more. I breastfed both my sons and plan to BF this one
