I had mine taken out after 7ish months. I was having daily headaches to the point I needed Motrin to sleep at night, daily cramps, no sex drive at all, and the worst part was I was having severe anxiety that I wasn’t sure was related to the mirena but when I got the mirena out, the anxiety went back to normal levels, oh and I suddenly had a ton more energy so I think the hormones affected me a lot. I have no regrets getting it taken out.

I’m calling on Monday to get mine taken out. My periods are lasting 13 days. But my cycle reversed on the pill, so it’s not really a surprise to me
