The corona viruses are a family of viruses responsible for lots of infections including sars, this new one which is covid19 and the common cold to name a few. My gp told me that cleaning products claiming to protect against corona virus only protect against the strain that causes the common cold x

Coronavirus has been around for years. News coverage is because it’s a new strain of it :) xx

Like other people have said coronavirus is a name for a group of illnesses, including the common cold. There is no proof whether this will protect against this strain (covid-19) but there is no harm in cleaning with disinfectant! :)
