So my babies was diagnosed with Autism December 2019
It has been a struggle for me because he has episodes where he hits me a lot. My husband pointed out that maybe it's because I work to much and he seems me very little. (Btw he is not violent with his dad) dad takes care of him day shifts and i do night shifts while he works.
I need some mommy advice bc now it's too the point where I am not sure if I should continue to work. 😭 please any mommy advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance..

Has his pediatrician talked to you about any type of therapy? My oldest is on the spectrum and we started him in early interventions and behavioral therapy at first. it fit for him and helped tremendously, I would discuss a plan with his doctor on moving forward with therapies they can offer you

@kaguirre You're not alone at all 💜, age three was a very difficult time for us all.My son is now 7 and is a whole different person after therapies. Given the right environment your son will thrive, also he may hit you because he does miss you. I know it sound's crazy but our kids tend to show their love in different ways 💙🤗

Tip* they can always pick back up on behavior therapy since they can see children up to adult age.
Try making a calm quiet place for him to wind down at the end of the day too.
