i said the same thing. i would have gone to jail for kidnapping before letting that poor child leave my classroom to go home to that. i couldn’t do it. so many people simply failed him because they did not care & were selfish. they didn’t feel like doing the work or fighting for him. they didn’t feel like spending extra time at work. it was sickening. i would have stayed working three days straight if that’s what it took to take that child out of that situation.
