I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
I want to as well, I’m more scared about the hospital rushing me or not working with me though tbh
Do not be rushed. I had a nurse who tried to rush me and made it uncomfortable but I ignored her. Then the doc kept pushing c section on me but I said I would try and push her out with time. I was pushing for about 2 1/2 hours and I was physically exhausted.
I think the contractions and everything leading up to were far more worse than the pushing. I have a high tolerance of pain though.
I’m just praying it’s QUICK. I’ve been looking up all kinds of things to do to keep my mind off it during labor but I know it can’t really just be avoided. I want the full experience.

It was all bad. Pushing for me was probably the worst. But I tore...in the up direction. Didn’t even know that could happen but it sure the hell did!
Go into it as prepared as possible. Have a plan but acknowledge the fact it may not go as planned.
For me the contractions were the worst . I didn’t feel the ring of fire she pretty much just slipped out of me 1.5 pushes . It just felt like I was taking the biggest poop of my life lol sorry
@sorrynotsorry, my 2nd my labor was very quick and easy my first was a different story
My first I had an epidural so I dont remember much pain with him. My second was natural, they didn't show up in time for the epidural that I didn't want til I was in labor so it worked out. I think the worst part with my second was I went from "ok these are real contractions" to "it's time to push" in such a short time. Plus I hadn't pooped in like a week leading up to labor so I was pooping all the time and each contraction made having to poop worse then I was also pooping while pushing.
Honestly the contractions werent bad (and I had irregular ones and would have like 5 back to back before I got a break) it was the very end like between 8-10, it was the pressure of baby getting rdy to be born and coming down. That was the worst part

To be honest I can not remember that part lol. I must have blocked it off and I did get snipped right before dd popped out. That was painful when the doctor was sewing it back up. I felt everything but I was too focused on dd as well. That “first time mom” shock when you lay eyes on this tiny human.

@sorrynotsorry, it’s when the baby is crowning and you literally feel on fire down there! No one told me about this until it was happening. I thought something was very wrong lol

@sorrynotsorry, When the baby's head crowns. It burns sooo bad. I had two natural births and that was the worst part both times.

Stitches hurt too! I was shaking so bad I couldn't hold still when I was being stitched up. 😂

@mommaofjais, I learned about it on babybump before I had dd. I was afraid too but all of that goes out of the window when you are in labor. You ride threw every pain and emotion. It is crazzzy🤧🤗
