It's so crazy how a child can change there bedtime from 8pm to 10pm within almost a day. 2 plus hours less of sleep every day seems like such a big difference, especially at this age.. like how can their sleep clock change that much in such a short time frame?

Its a regression. Stick to the 8 routine and leave him to fall asleep

Do you have a good bedtime routine established? I find that’s the key. Maddox knows that he gets a bath, then pjs, then a snack, then teeth brushing, then he goes in his bed and gets to watch one episode of something. He almost always goes to bed on his own after without me having to go back into the room but sometimes he needs me to snuggle him for a few mins. And he’s usually asleep by 730

Maybe start the nighttime routine earlier now cause u know it’s going to take more rime for him to fall asleep. What’s the nighttime routine look like in your house? Should be maybe bath, pjs, some stories then to bed. How old is your child? Is this the 2 year old you’re talking about? I def wouldn’t want him up till 10pm that’s way too late and like u said he’s losing 2 hours of sleep that way.

@ss3mom ?? Yea I know. It's not like I want to be up at 10pm with a hyper toddler. It doesn't matter though that it's "too late" or mom is tired, he won't go down till 10 pm now.

I was agreeing with u. Just start bedtime a little earlier
