I was told my due date is 3rd of September. Just wondering what is the latest date a baby can be born so he starts nursery/school without missing one year?

@liya.bowie, I’m not so keen I will likely defer them as they are entitled to funding for another year in nursery
31st aug so baby will be one of the eldest in class my daughter was born on the 4th sep.
It depends on the school and their rules. Our cutoff for starting school is September 1st. They have to be 5 before September 1st to start kindergarten. My son was born September 15th so he will be one of the oldest in the class
@liya.bowie, oh haha I have no clue their rules. U should be able to look it up on a website for the school district. Also things change so it may even change by the time your child is ready for school ya know?
Arround here it's October 10 even if its the month after they let you but its the limit
My little sisters birthday is the 3rd of September she had to wait a year, so she's now the eldest in her class xx

@liya.bowie yeah cos my mum always says if she was born 3 days before she wouldn't of been stuck with her for a extra year 😂😂 xx
Where we are it’s 28th February so both mine will be youngest in their year and start school at 4.5yrs
