Kinda nervous about delivery plans 😣 the only person we have to watch our son is my SIL...the hospital is about an hour away and yes her house is on the way but her street is basically a long dirt road and we’d have to go about 15 miles up the road and then back down to get back on route to the hospital. It’s making me so nervous. I know labor doesn’t happen that quickly but between deciding when to go (how far contractions are apart) dropping him off and it also being an hour drive my nerves are a wreck.

Anyone else have to deal with something similar?? Did you just “go with the flow”

She lives in the country so there’s not really a meet up place either if they were to start driving down the road if we called them to meet us lol. We would literally have to meet them on the side of a road if that’s what we decided rather than going down their road? Am I worrying too much 😬 we have literally nobody else...

Maybe they can come to your house and stay there while you’re in labor? Another half hour of drive time while in labor sounds poopy.

I'm driving myself. I have just decided when I'm in labor and have to go to the hospital. I will be the one driving that hour and a half to get there. I think my husband would freak out too much bless his heart and he is at work all day anyway. And my grandma.... Heck no. Everyone complains I drive like crazy. I'm actually super safe. No one has rode with her. I love the woman but she drives like a lunatic. I seriously am scared to death she will wreck one day. And even more when I'm in the car with her. Not to mention she doesn't do well under pressure or if emotions are high. And I would have to be the one telling her where to go and to stop going 90 mph anyway. Id rather be more focused on breathing than if I am going to survive the drive to the hospital or not. So it's decided. I'm driving myself.

Driving music Alright, ladies. I am about to embark on a cross country journey with my 3 year old, my 2 month old, a puggle and a dear friend who is crazy enough to want to help. We are going to be on the road for 5 days and we are going to need some music to survive. I'm going to be putting together a playlist. No genre is off limits! So, hit me with your driving music and traveling tunes...
