Okay. Am I in the wrong here?
Rob and I do well for ourselves financially. But he’s recently decided to apply for a car sales job. This has caused a huge fight between us. I’m upset because anything rob wants to do for himself he does. He’s switched careers multiple times. He decided he wanted to do firefighting so he did.
I’m feeling jealous a little bit because I’ve been stuck in a job I don’t love. I want to go back to school but I can’t right now because of kids. I’m just feeling like when is it going to be my turn to do something with my life?
He doesn’t understand and just keeps telling me to go to school or whatever but especially with his work hours it’s absolutely impossible right now. And he just doesn’t get it.

In the wrong about what?? You can’t really change the way you feel. Have you made a clear plan and presented it to him and asked him to step it up for you?

I think you just want him to acknowledge everything that you do for him and the kids, such as putting your career on hold. I think Rob should be able to do what he wants because he can lol and one day you will too! Right now you're in a phase in your life where your focus is on kids. You really can't have it both ways unfortunately... You could start taking online courses or just wait a few years... I know it's a sucky situation.
