What? That’s really sad. Of course I taught my son how to read. We are working in his younger bro now.
We like to read the foodcity papers lol 😆 they will point at the apples and say apples and name all the foods in the papers. They still not interested or can’t concentrate enough for actual books.
A lot people do not take the time to help their child learn to read or support their literacy development. Many leave it up to the schools. Their children are usually the ones who struggle the most.
Yes, and it’s sad because it’s really not the school’s job to teach their child absolutely everything.,It’s part of it but a mother or father needs to teach their child to read. There was a mom on here probably 3 years ago complaining because her son’s daycare didn’t potty train him. 🙄 that’s the mother’s job!
Every night we read 2 books before bedtime
Of course I sit down almost every night and we read a book and they read it back to me with my help of course or we do flash cards.
I take the time to help my daughter but she prefers youtube anyways. I read with her, practice letter sounds and more but she still learns most stuff from babyfirst or YouTube. also have never been to a party or club lol
