Okay, this may sound like a stupid question. But where is the safest spot for children in a van. 2 "captain seats" in the middle and bench in the back. My kids are 2, 5, 6, 8. And my son is due in April.

@mb2424, it’s a huge van with two seats in the middle and a bench in the back. Same setup as like a town and country just bigger. Maybe I am thinking about just the middle seat being safer? Idk, but it would feel weird to me to have a car seat all the way in the back seat

@mrsmerique, it looks like this lol. Maybe his car manual said it. Idk I just remember that I wasn’t supposed to put him all the way in the back

@mrsmerique, I know nothing about those vans, but regular minivans you can put them back there, most people prefer not to, but you can if that’s where you can get a safe install.

He's forward facing. In a 5 point harness.

I had a 3rd row suv and my baby is behind the driver seat and my 4 yr old is behind the passenger seat with the arm rest down and my older son in the 3rd row. We use the hooks for the base along with the seat belt to make sure it stays!

Thank you. My 2 year olds carseat anchors down. The carseat we have for when the baby is here has anchors and buckles down. For my 5 year old he has a harness carseat that buckles in( he's a tiny guy) and my older 2 have boosters. I have a chrystler town and country

I see you have a town and country. Is the 6 year old in a booster? Only high back booster kids or rear facing car seats can be in the back row of a town and country.

Yea. He has a booster. It doesn't have a back though. My 8 year old has the same one too
